The APEX X5 Gaming PC combines AMD's Ryzen 7 9850X3D processor with an ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 OC graphics card, DDR5 memory, fast NVMe storage, additional 2TB external RGB storage and a dedicated Thermalright LCD display.

AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D Processor

The APEX X5 is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D, a Zen 5 desktop processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, a 4.7GHz base clock and boost speeds of up to 5.6GHz. It features 96MB of L3 cache, a 120W default TDP and the AM5 socket. AMD recommends liquid cooling for optimal performance.

ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 OC 12GB

Graphics are handled by the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7 OC Edition. The card uses the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU with 6144 CUDA cores, 12GB GDDR7, a 192-bit memory interface and 28Gbps memory speed. Its boost clock is up to 2587MHz in OC mode and 2557MHz in default mode.

Crucial Pro 16GB DDR5-6000 Memory

The system includes a 16GB Crucial Pro DDR5-6000 UDIMM, model CP16G60C48U5. The module operates at 6000MT/s with CL48 timings and 1.1V voltage. It is a single 16GB module.

Seagate FireCuda 520N 1TB NVMe SSD

Primary internal storage is provided by the Seagate FireCuda 520N 1TB. The M.2 2230 NVMe SSD uses PCIe Gen4×4 and delivers sequential read speeds of up to 4800MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 4700MB/s. It is rated for up to 600TBW and carries a five-year limited warranty.

Seagate Marvel FireCuda Shuri Drive RGB 2TB

Additional storage comes from the Marvel Shuri Special Edition FireCuda 2TB external hard drive. Inspired by Marvel's Shuri, the drive features customizable RGB lighting and connects through USB 3.2 Gen 1. It is compatible with PC, Mac, PlayStation and Xbox.

MSI PRO B850M-P WIFI Motherboard

The motherboard is the MSI PRO B850M-P WIFI, an mATX AMD B850 motherboard with AM5 support for Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 Series desktop processors. It provides four DDR5 UDIMM slots, support for up to 256GB of memory, a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and three M.2 slots. Networking includes 5GbE LAN and Wi-Fi 7, with Bluetooth 5.4 support.

DeepCool LE520 WH 240mm AIO Liquid Cooler

CPU cooling is handled by the DeepCool LE520 WH, a 240mm white all-in-one liquid CPU cooler. It features a 282×120×27mm aluminum radiator, 410mm tubing and two 120mm PWM fans. The fans operate from 500–2250RPM ±10%, with airflow up to 85.85 CFM and noise up to 32.9dB(A). The cooler uses addressable RGB lighting.

ASUS ROG THOR 850W Platinum II Power Supply

Power is supplied by the ROG THOR 850W Platinum II. It carries an 80 PLUS Platinum certification and provides 850W total output. It includes an OLED power display, Aura Sync lighting, a 135mm PWM-controlled fan, 0dB fan technology and a PCIe Gen 5 16-pin power cable.

ASUS Prime AP202 ARGB Tempered-Glass Case

The components are housed inside the white ASUS Prime AP202 ARGB Micro-ATX case. It features a curved tempered-glass panoramic panel, an integrated ARGB light band and three pre-installed 120mm ARGB fans. The chassis supports graphics cards up to 420mm, top radiators up to 360mm, CPU air coolers up to 175mm and power supplies up to 200mm.

Thermalright Trofeo Vision 9.16 LCD

The build also includes a Thermalright Trofeo Vision 9.16 LCD White system-monitoring display. It uses a 9.16-inch IPS panel with a 1920×480 resolution and USB Type-C connectivity. The display measures 251×68×17mm and is designed for displaying system information and customizable content through Thermalright's software.

Thermalright TF4 Thermal Paste

Thermalright TF4 thermal paste is included for the CPU cooling installation. TF4 has a listed thermal conductivity of 9.5 W/m·K.
